To safeguard your Aspire account, 2-step verification (or 2FA) is mandatory for all users. Aspire uses in-app verification (trusted devices) for 2FA to keep your account secure.
With this method, users are required to add a trusted device, which can be used to review and approve login requests on other devices or browsers.
Need to set up your trusted device? Follow the steps in: How to Set Up Your Trusted Device.
Managing Your Trusted Devices
If you ever need to manage your trusted devices, you can access this tab. Here's what you can do:
View Your Trusted Devices
See all devices currently set as trusted on your account.
Check when each device was last used.
View device names and types.
Add Additional Trusted Devices
To add additional trusted devices (mobile or desktop), follow the steps in "Logging in from a New Device (When You Already Have a Mobile Trusted Device)" and mark your new device as trusted.
Rename Your Trusted Devices
Select the device you want to rename.
Click "Edit name".
Enter a new name (e.g., "John's iPhone", "Work Laptop").
Save changes.
Remove Trusted Devices
Select the device you want to remove.
Click "Remove".
Confirm the removal.
Notes:
You can have up to 5 trusted devices.
Ensure that notifications are enabled for your Aspire app, as login approval requests will be sent to your mobile trusted device via push notification.
If you enter incorrect login details five times in a row, your device will be temporarily blocked from logging in for 30 minutes.
