Guide to Enabling and Disabling Passkeys
Updated over 6 months ago

What are Passkeys?

A passkey is a simple, password-free way for users to verify themselves on an app. Users create a passkey on their device, like in their browser or password manager, for a specific app. They use this passkey, along with a biometric scan or PIN, to log in securely. Benefits of using Passkeys:

  • Safer and more secure

  • Easier login process

  • No hassle of remembering passwords

This means there are two layers of security: the passkey itself (something the user has) and the biometric or PIN (something the user knows or is).

You can learn more about Passkeys here.
