If your transfer was rejected by the beneficiary, the funds will be returned to your account typically within two weeks from the transfer date.
We cannot define the exact timeline as this depends on the intermediary banks and the original intended beneficiary bank. We have limited visibility on the funds in this case as we are on the receiving end of the rejected transfer.
To get the latest update on your transfer return, we recommend that you:
Ask your counterparty to confirm with their bank whether the funds have been rejected
Ask your counterparty to request their bank to initiate a TRACE on the SWIFT network to check the exact location of the funds
