How to remove a user?

Admins can change the role or remove the access of an existing or pending invited user.

Please note that only Admin users can remove the access of other users in-app. Finance and Employee users do not have the capability to remove themself.

Remove existing Finance or Employee user access

For admin users to remove a Finance or Employee user:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Users" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Users" (mobile app).

  2. Select the Finance or Employee user you wish to remove the access

  3. Within the Access Role column, click on "Modify Access"

  4. Click on "Revoke Access"

Remove other existing Admin user access

For admin* users to remove another admin user access:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Users" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Users" (mobile app).

  2. Select the admin user you wish to remove the access

  3. Within the Access Role column, click on "Modify Access"

  4. Click on "Revoke Access"

In the following scenarios, the access removal will be implemented:

If you need to remove a non-director admin user, you can do so via one of the following methods:

  • Encourage the non-director admin to reach out to Support for assistance with their own access revocation

  • Request a Director admin to revoke access for the non-director admin within the application

  • Submit a request to our Support Team for the manual removal of another non-director admin user.

Notes:

  • *The director admin user whose access was revoked will receive an email notification to confirm the said action. Once the admin user confirms this action, they will be logged out of the Aspire account, and their access will automatically be revoked.

  • Director or non-director refers to the Admin role within your company.

Admin hasn't confirmed the revoked access request, what should I do?

Please chat with our Support Team by logging in to your Aspire account to request the manual removal of another admin user. Our Support Team will then make the necessary arrangements.

Note: If you are not a user of the Aspire account and need to request the removal of an admin user from the account, please contact the account admin so we may proceed with the request.

Removing your own access (Admin)

If you are an admin user and wish to remove your access, you cannot do it directly in the Aspire app. Instead, please contact our Support Team to process your request. This process typically takes 5 business days.

If there is only one admin in the Aspire account, the current admin must endorse a new admin to replace them.

Remove existing Developer user access (For Indonesia-incorporated businesses only!)

For admin users to remove a Developer user role:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Users" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Users" (mobile app).

  2. Select the user with the Developer role that you wish to remove the access

  3. Within the Access Role column, click on "Modify Access"

  4. Click on "Revoke Access"

Cancel pending user access

Once admins have invited the user to the Aspire account, they can cancel the invitation of a pending user:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Users" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Users" (mobile app).

  2. Click on "Status" and choose "Invited"

  3. Select the relevant user from the list

  4. Click "Edit" on the "Access Role" section

  5. Click "Revoke access" to cancel the invitation to the user.
