Guide to Creating Aspire Physical Cards

Which countries can create a physical card?

At this time, only businesses incorporated in Singapore are eligible to create Aspire physical cards. Delivery of these physical cards is limited to addresses within Singapore.

If your registered personal address is outside of Singapore, you cannot select it as a delivery address. We recommend having the card delivered to your business address (if it is located in Singapore) or manually entering a valid Singapore address under the "Card delivery address" option.


Creating a Physical Card

Admin users and Budget Owners* can create a physical card directly in-app.

Meanwhile, Finance and Employee users will need to request the physical card in-app, which will be sent to Admin users for approval before the physical card is issued.

*Budget Owners can create physical cards only within the budget to which they are assigned.

Admin users or Budget Owners

To create a physical card, follow the steps below:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click "New card" located on the top right-hand side.

  3. Select the Cardholder and customize the Card name.

  4. Select “Physical Card” under card type.

  5. Select the Source account for your card.

  6. Set a Spend limit:

    1. Enter the amount

    2. Choose the refresh frequency: Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or one-time.

  7. Link the card to a budget (optional).

  8. Click "View more spend controls" to apply more controls for your card:

    1. Freeze automatically: Set automatic card freezing based on transaction count or specific date.

    2. Allow specific currencies only: Specify allowed currencies for card transactions.

    3. Merchant category restrictions: Specify the merchant category restrictions.

    4. Specific merchant restrictions: Specify specific merchant restrictions.

  9. Assign a category for your card.

  10. Click "View more reporting options" to:

    1. Fill out other reporting fields set up by your business

    2. Exclude the card from auto reminders

  11. Click "Continue".

  12. Add the details to be printed on the card:

    1. Cardholder: Cardholder's name that will be printed on the card

    2. Custom card name: Custom value that will be printed on the card

  13. Add the delivery details, then click “Continue”.

  14. Review the card and delivery details, then click "Place order and pay".

Notes:

  • Source of Funds

    • Select SGD, USD, or Advance Limit (if any) as the card's source of funds.

    • If you have multiple multi-currency accounts, choose the correct one for your card.

  • Cardholder & Card Name

    • You can customize both the Cardholder Name and Card Name when creating a physical card.

    • Each field supports up to 15 alphanumeric characters.

    • Cannot be edited: Once the order is in processing, these names are permanent and cannot be changed.

  • Card Color

    • Physical card comes in a fixed color and cannot be customized.

  • Address Fields

    • Only letters and numbers are allowed. Symbols or special characters are not accepted.

  • Editing Card Details

    • Admin users can edit card details after the request has been submitted to them.

    • Once the order is in processing, the Cardholder’s Name and Card Name can no longer be changed.

  • Card Assignment

    • After issuance, the card is permanently assigned to the user and cannot be reassigned.


Finance or Employee users

To request for a physical card, follow the steps below:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click "Request a card" located on the top right-hand side.

  3. Edit the card's name.

  4. Select “Physical card” under card type.

  5. Under "Purpose" include a reason for your card request and attach any supporting documents.

  6. Choose the preferred currency for your card transactions.

  7. Set a Spend limit:

    1. Enter the amount

    2. Choose the refresh frequency: Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or one-time.

  8. Link the card to a budget (optional).

  9. Click "View more spend controls" to apply more spending control for your card:

    1. Merchant category restrictions: Specify the merchant category restrictions.

    2. Specific merchant restrictions: Specify specific merchant restrictions.

  10. Assign a category for your card.

  11. Click "View more reporting options" to:

    1. Fill out other reporting fields set up by your business

    2. Exclude the card from auto reminders

  12. Click "Continue".

  13. Input the details to be printed on the card:

    1. Cardholder: Cardholder's name that will be printed on the card

    2. Custom cardname: Custom value that will be printed on the card

  14. Add the delivery details, then click “Continue”.

  15. Review the card and delivery details and click "Request a card".

  16. Click "Yes, request my card now" to submit your card request.

Notes:

Creation Limit, Fees & Delivery Timeframe

There is no limit on how many physical cards you can create. The first physical card per user is free! Subsequent cards for the same user are charged a 15 SGD processing fee.

The payment will be deducted from your account. You will receive an email with your invoice and payment confirmation.

To track the delivery status of your physical card:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click your physical card from the list.

  3. Click "Track card delivery status" to view the dispatch date, courier information, and tracking number.


Can I convert my virtual card to a physical Card?

Currently, we are unable to convert any virtual cards you have created on your Aspire Account into a physical card.
