Note: To access the Platform Partners feature, you must activate the production version of your Payment Gateway.
What is Platform Partners?
Platform Partners is a feature on your Aspire dashboard that allows your business to onboard partners and facilitate Payment Gateway transactions on their behalf.
Once funds are received, you can either manually disburse payments to your partners or automate the payout process.
Additionally, Platform Partners allows you to configure the commission you earn from each partner, which will be automatically deducted from the net amount received from their customers.
Setting up the Platform Partners
How to set up the default commission?
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Platform partners" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Platform partners" (mobile app).
Next, click on "Commission settings"
Under Platform Gateway Commission, you can either input the percentage (%) of the commission you wish to receive or select "Fixed Fees" to enter a specific amount in IDR.
Once done, click "Save".
How to onboard or add partners in Platform Partners?
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Platform partners" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Platform partners" (mobile app).
Next, click on "Add partner"
Continue with filling out your Partner details:
Next, select the Payout Setting. This will automate payouts to your partner based on the schedule you configure. If you select "Manual", you will be responsible for processing the payouts manually. The available payout options are:
Next, select the Platform Gateway Commission you will receive from this partner. You can either use your default commission setting or create a custom commission based on a percentage (%) or a fixed fee.
Once done, click on "Add partner".
Now your partner has been added.
Note: Your added partner will not be able to view your Aspire dashboard.
How to use your Partner’s ID to Start Collecting on their Behalf
To start collecting payments using your partner’s ID, contact our Customer Support team via the Aspire app. They will coordinate with our IT team to assist with the integration.
Viewing payments received to Platform Partners
Once your partner's ID is created in your payment gateway, you can begin receiving payments on their behalf. These payments can be viewed under Payment Gateway Collections, Platform Partners Collections, or Funds.
Note: Viewing payments via Payment Gateway Collections vs Platform Partners Collections will display different breakdowns of the payment amount received.
Viewing inbound payments via Payment Gateway Collections
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Payment Gateway" and choose "Gateway Collections"
Inbound payments received on behalf of your partner will be labeled as the partner name you have configured when adding your partner.
Once you select a payment, it will be categorized into two sections: Net Payment Amount and Net Collection.
Viewing inbound payments via Platform Partners Collections
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Platform partners" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Platform partners" (mobile app).
Select the relevant partner with which you want to view the payment.
Under "Gateway collections" you will be able to view all inbound transfer received in behalf of the partner.
When you select a payment, the payment details will be available under Net Collection.
Viewing inbound payments via Funds
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Funds" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Funds" (mobile app).
Next, choose your Aspire IDR account that is linked to the payment gateway.
Under "Past" transactions, you can view the inbound payments that have been settled into your Aspire IDR account. Payments received from your payment gateway will be labeled as "Gateway Collection", while funds paid out to your partner will be labeled as "Partner Transfer."
To view further breakdown of the transfer, you may select the transaction, and then click on "Request ID"
Note: You can also view upcoming inbound payments by selecting the "Upcoming" transactions tab. These funds have not yet been settled into your Aspire IDR account.
Sending Manual Payout to Partners or Refunding funds to Partner's customers
Sending Manual Payout to Partners
If you have selected "Manual" as the payout frequency, you will be required to process the payout manually.
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Platform partners" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Platform partners" (mobile app).
Select the relevant partner with which you want to make the payout to.
Click on "Funds" and then choose "Make a payout"
Enter the amount and other transfer details.
Click on "Continue"
Now you have successfully sent manual payout to your partner.
Refunding funds to Partner's customers
For payments made using credit cards, the refund will be processed to the payer's card directly.
However, for other payment methods (e.g.: e-wallet, QRIS, Virtual Accounts), you will need to make the refund. you can process the refund by following the steps below:
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Platform partners" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Platform partners" (mobile app).
Select the relevant partner which you want to make the refund from.
Select the relevant inbound payment
Click on "Refund"
The refund amount has now been returned to your partner's customer. You can view the refund details under "Funds" in the "Platform Partners" section.
Exporting Transaction Reports from your Platform Partners
You can export the collection report and account statement from your added partner.
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Platform partners" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Platform partners" (mobile app).
Select the relevant partner with which you want to export the report.
Under "Gateway Collections," choose "Export Statement"
You have the option to export either the "Collection Statement" or the "Account Statement". If you choose to export the Collection Statement, you can further refine the export by applying filters such as Payment Date, Request Status, Settlement Status, and Payment Method.
Once you have made your selection, click on "Export".
Now, your exported report has been downloaded to your device.
