Intermediary Bank Details

A sender typically has the option to input an intermediary bank when doing a SWIFT transfer to your SWIFT SGD Account. Placing the intermediary bank ensures a seamless transfer to your Aspire account, minimizing the chances of missing transfers or even transfer reversals.

As such, we recommend sharing the intermediary bank details with the sender when applicable. The sender should have the option to enter intermediary bank details at the time of transfer initiation.

If the sender cannot select an intermediary bank, no action is required, as the sender's bank may have it configured on the back end. Toggle the button below to select the appropriate intermediary bank based on the currency listed:

Do I have the same SWIFT Account Details for my Aspire USD Account if I already have an Aspire EUR/GBP Account?

Yes. If you're receiving a transfer from any of our supported currencies, you would need to set up your primary currency. This way, your FX transfer will be converted to your chosen primary currency and added to that account.

You may view some example scenarios below for clarity:

  • Your chosen primary currency is your EUR account. When someone sends 100 AUD to your SWIFT account, it will be converted to EUR and deposited into your EUR Account. When someone sends 100 USD to your SWIFT account, it will be deposited into your USD Account without conversion.

  • Your chosen primary currency is your USD account. When someone sends 100 AUD to your SWIFT account, it will be converted to USD and deposited into your USD Account. When someone sends 100 EUR to your SWIFT account, it will be deposited into your EUR Account without conversion.

Note: Regardless of the primary currency set, any transfers received in USD, EUR, or GBP will be deposited in the respective currency account and will not be converted to the primary currency. This applies if you have activated a USD, EUR, or GBP Aspire account.

How do I set my account's Primary Currency?

To set up the account's primary currency, Admin users must:

  1. Click on USD Account under the My Accounts section on the homepage

  2. Select "SWIFT account details"

  3. A pane will slide from the side. On the upper part of the pane, hit "click here" to update your primary currency

  4. A new window will pop up. Select your choice for the primary currency, whether USD, EUR or GBP, then click "Update primary receiving currency"

Transfer Limit & Timeframe

Aspire SWIFT USD Account Details can receive SWIFT/International Telegraphic/Wire transfers with no transfer limit.

The processing time for incoming SWIFT transfers depends largely on the platform used by the sender. A SWIFT transfer typically takes 2-5 business days. Aspire would usually process the funds within 1 business day of receiving them.

If the expected delivery time for funds to be reflected in your account has exceeded, please request a transfer receipt or MT103 (for transfers via SWIFT) from your sender.

As the receiving party, our payment partner has limited visibility on inbound transactions. Hence to trace a transfer, we strongly advise that you reach out to the sender and request them to issue a trace of funds through the sending bank.

Notes: When sending funds to your account for the first time or receiving investment/funding, please notify us in advance and share supporting documents through this form.

Transfer Fee & Rate

  • Transfers from outside the US that are USD to USD using SWIFT payment will incur a USD 8 fee. If you receive a transfer from within the US using the SWIFT network, you will also be charged a USD 8 fee.

  • Transfers that convert into other supported currencies other than USD will be converted at the best rates, which are up to 3x cheaper than banks. These transfers will also incur a USD 8 fee.

Notes: SWIFT transfers may involve intermediary/correspondent banks fees that may be deducted from the received amount. This fee varies based on the correspondent banks used by SWIFT network and can be between $7 - $60. You are unable to select the intermediary bank.
