What are some example questions I can ask?

Here are some prompts you can try immediately after connecting:

  • "What is my current account balance?"

  • "Show me all transactions over SGD 1,000 this month."

  • "Which budgets are over 80% utilised?"

  • "Freeze John's corporate card."

  • "What bills are waiting for my approval?"

  • "Give me a month-end finance summary for May."

  • "Which cards had no spend this month?"

  • "List all active virtual cards."

Can the AI transfer money or make payments on my behalf?

No. The Aspire MCP connector is read-and-manage, not payment-execution. The AI can:

  • Create and submit bills for approval

  • Freeze, block, or cancel cards

  • Approve or reject expense claims and bills

Note: The AI cannot initiate or execute fund transfers, wire payments, or any movement of money. All payment execution remains in the Aspire platform and requires authorised human action.

This is a deliberate safety boundary. Payments always require human review and approval inside Aspire.

Can the AI assistant perform actions on my behalf?

Yes. The MCP Server supports selected actions that users are already authorized to perform within Aspire. Any action remains subject to the same permissions and controls that apply inside Aspire.

Will more capabilities be added in the future?

Yes. Aspire plans to continue expanding MCP capabilities over time to support additional workflows and use cases while maintaining strong security, compliance, and permission controls.
