Getting Started with Aspire Cards
Aspire offers two types of corporate cards: virtual and physical. Regardless of which card you choose, you can link it to any of your Aspire multi-currency accounts as your source of funds. When you make a payment using the card, the funds will be deducted from your selected source.
To avoid payment declines, please make sure to top up your linked Aspire multi-currency account with enough funds before using your card.
Is the Aspire Corporate Card a Debit Card?
Yes. The Aspire corporate card functions as a debit card, deducting directly from the selected account source of funds.
Can I Set Limits on My Aspire Cards?
Yes. Aspire allows you to customise the following settings for your cards:
Spending Limits — Set a maximum amount that can be spent daily, weekly, or monthly on the card.
Automatic Freeze — Define conditions for when the card should automatically freeze, such as after a certain number of transactions or after a specific date.
Currency Restrictions — Limit spending to a specific currency.
Merchant Category Restrictions — Allow or block payments to certain categories of merchants.
Specific Merchant Restrictions — Set specific merchants to allow or block for payments.
Which Bank Issued My Aspire Card?
Aspire is the issuer of the AUD cards for Australian businesses.
What Types of Transactions Can I Use My Card For?
There are no restrictions placed on your card for any kind of transaction (e.g. purchasing crypto). You can use your card as long as the merchant accepts payments through Visa. This includes one-time purchases as well as recurring payments such as paying for app subscriptions, software services, and memberships.
Note: Our card issuer or the payment networks (Visa) can still reject transactions based on the fraud and risk regulations they have set up on their cards.
