Guide to Increasing Aspire Charge Card Limit

Admin or Finance users can increase the Aspire Charge Card limit (up to the approved credit limit) by topping up the Cards Collateral Account from the Aspire Checking Account. You can do this in two ways:

Top up via Charge Cards Page

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Charge Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Charge Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Select "Increase available limit".

  3. Enter the desired amount under the “You Pay” field, then click “Continue” to confirm the top-up.

Top up from the Cards Collateral Page

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Funds" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Funds" (mobile app).

  2. Select "Cards collateral".

  3. Click "Add Funds".

  4. You can transfer from your checking account or external account:

  1. Choose “Transfer from checking account

  2. Enter the desired amount under the “You Pay” field, then click “Continue” to confirm the top-up.

Transfer from an external account

  1. Choose “Transfer from an external account

  2. Your Cards Collateral Account details will appear. Click “Copy details” and use these to transfer funds* from your external account.

  3. Once the funds are in, your available balance will be updated.

*Notes:

  • You can only transfer funds from banks in the US via ACH and FedWire. Transfers outside of the US will be rejected and returned within 2-5 business days.

  • Any amount above your credit limit will be moved to your checking account balance.
