What is an Aspire-to-Aspire (A2A) transfer?
A transfer sent from one Aspire customer to another Aspire customer is referred to as A2A payments. A2A is only available, where the sending and receiving currency are the same (e.g. USD → USD).
Which customers can use it?
Customers sending from Aspire SG or Aspire HK accounts. Customers on newer entities such as US etc. will be going live soon.
Is there a fee?
We are currently in Beta phase and will not be charging any fees to the customers for now.
How fast does it arrive?
Funds should arrive instantly.

Recipients & eligibility
How does the customer know a recipient is eligible for A2A?
An Aspire logo appears against the recipient's name. That means the recipient is an Aspire account and A2A can be used.
The recipient has the Aspire logo, but the transfer mode isn't "Aspire Transfer". Why?
Most likely the currencies don't match. The Aspire logo means A2A can be used, but Aspire Transfer only applies to same-currency transfers.
Check that the Source of funds account currency and the Recipient gets currency are the same. If they differ (e.g. SGD → USD), the transfer goes through the regular transfer mode and standard fees/timelines apply.

Where does the customer see that it's an A2A transfer?
On Step 2 of 4, "How much would you like to send?":
Transfer mode: Aspire Transfer
Transfer fee: USD 0.00
Recipient gets and You pay show the same currency and amount (e.g. USD 20.00 / USD 20.00)
Not supported (yet)
Can a customer send SGD to a recipient's USD account via A2A?
No. Cross-currency A2A isn't supported yet. It goes through the regular transfer flow for now.
Is A2A available for customers outside SG and HK?
Not currently. Only Aspire SG and Aspire HK.
Is A2A available for SG customers to send SGD to HK customer?
SGD transfers from SG to HK customer is not available yet. We are working to enable it soon.
