Is Aspire Assist an official Aspire feature?

Yes. Assist is built into the Aspire platform and runs on the same tool layer, the same permissions, and the same security infrastructure as the rest of Aspire.

Can Assist do more than I can do myself?

No. Assist is scoped to what you are already permitted to do in Aspire. If you cannot view a record or perform an action in the product, you cannot do it through Assist either. There is no elevation of privilege.

Does Assist need my approval before it changes anything?

Yes. Assist can initiate an action, but write actions such as approving a claim, creating a bill, or issuing a card require your explicit sign-off. Assist prepares the change, explains it, and waits for your click.

Key write actions, such as creating or unfreezing a card, also require additional authentication (2FA).

Is there a record of what Assist does?

Yes. Assist is fully auditable:

  • Every action is attributed. Actions taken through Assist are logged against the user who initiated them, with name, time, and action.

  • The thread is the paper trail. Your question, what Assist found, and what you decided all stay in one saved conversation.

  • One set of records, not two. Assist actions appear in the same history and approval trail as everything else in Aspire. Nothing lives in a separate place.

What happens to my data?

  • No model training. Your transactions, balances, and documents are never used to train an AI model. Not ours, and not anyone else's.

  • Nothing kept after the answer. Requests run through Anthropic's API with zero data retention enabled, so nothing persists with the model once the response comes back.

  • Only what the question needs. Assist sends the records relevant to your question, not your whole ledger. A question about one claim sends only that claim.

  • Your existing agreement covers it. Assist runs under the data processing agreement you already have with Aspire, with Anthropic named as a sub-processor.

Can Assist make mistakes?

Yes. Like all AI systems, Assist can occasionally misunderstand a request or summarise something incorrectly. Because the answer is a live record and every write action needs your approval, you always review before anything is saved. For important financial decisions, verify the details in the record before you confirm.
