What types of beneficiaries can I transfer PKR to?

You can send PKR payments to individual accounts in Pakistan.

Payment Types

PKR transfers are sent via local transfer.

Name Checks

Name verification is required for PKR transfers.

Is there a limit on the amount I can send?

Transfer Limit: PKR 35,000,000 per transfer

How long does it take for the funds to reach the beneficiary?

  • Cut-off Times: 24/7 processing

  • Delivery Estimate

    • BAHL: Typically up to 1 working day after currency conversion is completed

    • BALF: Typically instant after currency conversion is completed

Note: Currency conversion can take up to 2 business days from the time your transfer is approved.

What will the sender's name be reflected as?

Your business name will be displayed as the sender on the recipient's bank statement.

What types of payments are restricted?

PKR transfers to the following accounts are not supported:

  • Meezan Bank Express accounts

  • Allied Bank Express accounts

What information should I include when sending PKR transfers?

Recipient and Transfer Details:

When initiating the transfer in the Aspire app, Admin and Finance Users will be asked to provide:

  • Recipient name: Must match the bank account exactly

  • IBAN: 24 characters

  • Reference: Up to 50 characters, sent via email

Traces and Recalls

  • Traces: Trace requests are supported. You will need to provide the recipient's bank statement to initiate a trace request.

  • Recalls: Recall requests are not supported.

To request a trace, contact Aspire Support Team via the Aspire app.

Bounceback

If your transfer is rejected by the recipient's bank, the funds will be returned to your Aspire account within 1 - 3 weeks, depending on the beneficiary bank.
