What types of beneficiaries can I transfer MYR to?

You can send MYR payments to individual and business accounts in Malaysia.

Payment Types

You can send MYR via:

  • Local bank transfer

  • Duitnow

Name Checks

No name verification is required for MYR transfers.

Is there a limit on the amount I can send?

  • Resident (DuitNow RPP scheme bank): MYR 9,800,000

  • Resident (non-DuitNow RPP scheme bank): MYR 975,000 per transfer

  • Non-resident: MYR 10,000 per transfer

How long does it take for the funds to reach the beneficiary?

  • Cut-off Times: 24/7 processing

  • Delivery Estimate: Typically instant or up to 1 business day after currency conversion is completed

Note: Currency conversion can take up to 2 business days from the time your transfer is approved.

What will the sender's name be reflected as?

Your business name will be displayed as the sender on the recipient's bank statement.

What information should I include when sending MYR transfers?

Recipient and Transfer Details:

When initiating the transfer in the Aspire app, Admin and Finance Users will be asked to provide:

  • Full recipientʼs or business name: Up to 50 characters only, no special characters

    allowed

  • Bank name

  • Bank account number (7-20 digits long)

  • For DuitNow: Mobile number, army/police number, business registration

    number or NRIC

  • Transfer purpose: Required

Traces and Recalls

  • Traces: Traces requests are not supported.

  • Recalls: Recall requests are supported with valid reasons (fraud-related cases with a police report).

To request a recall, contact Aspire Support Team via the Aspire app.

Bounceback

If your transfer is rejected by the recipient's bank, the funds will be returned to your Aspire account within 2 business day.
