What types of beneficiaries can I transfer CHF to?

You can send CHF payments to individual and business accounts in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Payment Types

CHF transfers are sent via local transfer using the recipient's IBAN to domestic accounts in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Name Checks

Name verification is required for CHF transfers.

Is there a limit on the amount I can send?

Transfer Limit: CHF 250,000,000 per transfer

How long does it take for the funds to reach the beneficiary?

  • Cut-off Times: Multiple processing windows between 9:00 AM and 4:00 AM SGT (Singapore Time)

  • Delivery Estimate: Typically, up to 1 business day after currency conversion is completed.

    • CHF payments are subject to compliance checks by Swiss banks, which may cause additional processing delays before funds are credited to the recipient

Notes:

  • Currency conversion can take up to 2 business days from the time your transfer is approved.

  • No payouts are processed during weekends or public holidays.

  • Transfers submitted after the cut-off times will be processed at the next available window.

What will the sender's name be reflected as?

Your business name will be displayed as the sender on the recipient's bank statement.

What information should I include when sending CHF transfers?

Recipient and Transfer Details:

When initiating the transfer in the Aspire app, Admin and Finance Users will be asked to provide:

  • Full recipientʼs or business name: Latin characters (a-z) only

  • Recipientʼs city

  • ZIP code

  • IBAN: 21 characters, must begin with CH or LI

    • CHF transfers are only supported for domestic accounts in Switzerland (CH) and Liechtenstein (LI). Ensure the IBAN format is correct to avoid payment failures.

  • Reference up to 50 characters

Traces and Recalls

  • Traces: Trace requests are supported. You will need to provide the recipient's bank statement to initiate a trace request.

  • Recalls: Recall requests are supported with a valid reason.

To request a trace or recall, contact Aspire Support Team via the Aspire app.

Bounceback

If your transfer is rejected by the recipient's bank, the funds will be returned to your Aspire account within 1 business day.
