How to Link Aspire Card with Google Pay

Updated yesterday

Notes:

  • At the moment, SMS OTPs cannot be delivered to phone numbers registered in China (+86). If your registered number is from China, we recommend using an alternative phone number to complete the verification process.

  • Aspire cards using IDR or HKD Cards accounts as their source of funds cannot be linked to Google Pay at this time.

  • For customers based in Indonesia, Google Pay is currently not supported, as the country is not yet included in Google Pay’s list of supported regions.

You can link your Aspire card with Google Pay by following the steps by steps below.

  1. Firstly, you will need an Android phone to use the contactless function for Google Pay

  2. In Google Pay, choose "Card Payments" > "Add a new card", and enter your payment details

  3. Choose the SMS verification option, enter your verification code, and submit

  4. Your Aspire card should now show in your list of cards😄

You can go through the images mentioned below or you can also go through this PDF guide to complete your Google Pay integration.

Once integrated, you will now be able to use your Aspire card for all your Google Pay transactions.

If you have an NFC-enabled Android phone, you can make contactless payments anywhere in the world. In Singapore, we love buying kopi and taking MRT rides using our Aspire card! You can also use it to pay online at merchants that accept Google Pay.

There are no extra charges for this service. Your Aspire card will work exactly the same as for any other payment method.
