Aspire users can accept card and e-wallet payments through Stripe.
Step 1: Initiate Stripe Integration from Aspire
Activating Stripe integration is available only through the Aspire webpage. We recommend that the company director (listed in ACRA Bizfile as a key officer) handle the integration since it requires their personal details for Stripe’s KYC. However, if the director isn’t an Aspire user, any Admin and Finance users can manually enter their director’s details instead.
Please follow the steps below to set up Stripe payments for SGD Invoices and Payment Links:
On the upper right part of the page, go to "Settings", then click "Receivable Settings"
Click "Set up Stripe" under Payment Methods for SGD
You will be redirected to Stripe. Check the consent box, then click "Start Stripe Onboarding."
Step 2: Complete Stripe’s Onboarding Page
1. When redirected to Stripe, you have two options:
If you already have a Stripe account - log in using your existing credentials and create a new account to be connected to Aspire.
Notes:
You can integrate your existing Stripe account, but you won’t be eligible for T+3 settlements or the $20,000 fee-free processing offer.
By default, Stripe payouts follow a T+7 settlement timeframe. To qualify for T+3 settlements, you must:
Create a new Stripe account through the Aspire app
Set Aspire as your payout account
Once both conditions are met, Aspire can request T+3 settlements on your behalf, but approval is subject to Stripe’s review.
To qualify for $20,000 fee-free processing, you must also meet eligibility criteria here.
If you don’t have a Stripe account - proceed with creating a new account using your registered Aspire email and phone number. Aspire will pre-fill the fields with your business and personal information.
2. Fill in your location and business details.
3. Fill up the company director’s personal details. If you are the company director, you may use your Myinfo login to retrieve your personal details. If you are not the company director, manually fill in the details of the company director
4. Add the account details for your Stripe payout (your Aspire SGD Account details)
5. Add the public details that your customers will see when they pay via Stripe
6. Once you've reviewed and completed the Stripe onboarding, you may go back to the Aspire page to confirm that your Stripe account verification is pending. Stripe will verify your account within 3-5 business days.
7. Occasionally, Stripe may request additional information. A banner will appear, allowing you to be redirected to Stripe. Click "Complete Verification" to continue.
8. On the Stripe banner, click "Review Details" to view and upload the required documents.
9. Once Stripe verifies your account, a pop-up window will appear the next time you log in to Aspire.
Note: Occasionally, Stripe may require additional details to continue serving as a payment method for Aspire Invoices and Payment Links. Click "Provide Information" in Stripe to complete the process.
Failure to submit the required documents within 30 days will disable the Stripe payment option on your Aspire account.
Step 3: Configure Stripe Payment Methods
Stripe supports card payments and a variety of e-wallets.
Admin users can enable or disable the corresponding payment methods in the Stripe Dashboard:
1. From the receivables settings, click "Configure" next to Stripe field
Notes:
Company directors who click the "Configure" link are automatically redirected to the Stripe payment page.
Aspire admin and finance users who are part of the connected Stripe account will be prompted to log in. Those not associated must use the connected account’s credentials to access the payment page.
2. Click "Turn on" on the desired Card Networks or e-Wallets
3. This information will be synced to your Aspire Invoices and Payment Links.
