How to Verify Your Identity via Onfido

To complete your Aspire account registration, you’ll need to verify your identity through Onfido. Follow the steps below:

  1. On the Onfido page, click "Start verification".

  2. Enter your personal details:

    1. First name

    2. Last name

    3. Email address (must match the one used in your Account Opening Form)

    4. Nationality

  3. Then, click "Continue".

  4. Click "Get Secure Link" to proceed with verification on your mobile device.

  5. Use your phone to scan the QR code shown on the screen. Alternatively, you can:

    1. Click "Copy link" to open it manually on your phone, or

    2. Select "Get link via SMS" to receive it by text.

  6. On your mobile browser, tap "Continue" to begin the process.

  7. Select the country that issued your ID and choose the type of ID you want to use.

  8. Grant camera access when prompted.

  9. Capture clear photos of your ID:

    1. Take a photo of the front side.

    2. Then take a photo of the back side.

  10. Next, take a selfie:

    1. Face the camera directly

    1. Ensure your eyes are clearly visible

    2. Remove glasses if necessary

  11. Next, verify your address:

    1. Select the country that issued the document reflecting your current home address.

    2. Choose the type of document you’ll upload for proof of address.

    3. Upload your document by:

      1. Selecting an image from your gallery,

      1. Taking a photo, or

      2. Uploading a file.

  12. Once completed, click "Upload" to submit your verification.

Note: If your account is activated but you skipped the Identity Verification with Onfido during onboarding, you won't be able to send money or use other Aspire account features.

You can only access these features once you complete the Identity Verification. Log in to your Aspire account to see the banner and complete the verification process.
