What is SGD Yield Account?

SGD Yield account (operated by AFT SG 2 Pte. Ltd.) allows you to earn returns by investing your funds in relatively low-risk money market funds managed by Singapore’s leading fund managers.

Your Yield Account is integrated with your Business Account, so you can seamlessly switch between investing and spending your funds to grow your business.

How much can I expect to earn?

The fund aims to provide stable returns, but the actual yield may vary based on market conditions.

While the fund aims to offer consistent earnings, please note that returns are not guaranteed and may fluctuate. You can view the latest performance trends here.

Your SGD funds are invested with Fullerton SGD Cash Fund Class A. You may see the latest performance in the fund prospectus and product highlight sheet.

The fund is non-capital guaranteed and is not a deposit product. All investments are subject to investment risks, including the risk that you may lose all or part of your principal invested amount.

How are fees charged for the Yield account?

An annual fee of 0.5% will be charged on a monthly basis based on average daily net asset value in your Yield account.

Fees are first deducted from your Aspire Business Account. If there are insufficient funds in your Business Account, we'll cover the fees by selling your units in the Yield account.

Withdrawing your funds

All redemption proceeds will be paid to your Business Account in accordance with the settlement timeline as set out in the relevant Fund’s prospectus.

If you submit a redemption request before the prescribed cut-off time for the Fund on a business day, the redemption proceeds will be available in your Business Account on the next business day.

Once the funds are in your Business Account, you can then withdraw them externally using your usual payment methods (subjected to standard payment processing times).

Is there a limit on the amount that can be withdrawn from my Yield Account at once?

There is no limit on the amount that can be withdrawn from your Yield Account to your Business Account at once. If the request is submitted before 4 PM SGT on a business day, you’ll get access to your funds on the next business day.

Can I submit multiple withdrawal requests on the same day?

Yes, you can submit multiple requests in a day. Requests submitted before 4 PM SGT will be processed on the same day, and the funds will be available in your business account by the next business day.

What happens if Aspire becomes insolvent?

Your money is held in a trust account with a licensed bank, segregated from Aspire’s corporate funds or assets. In the unlikely event of Aspire’s insolvency, your monies remain protected.

What happens if the fund manager becomes insolvent?

Fullerton Fund Management is the fund manager of the fund, it was established in 2003 and is headquartered in Singapore. Fullerton is part of Seviora, an independent asset management group owned by Temasek. Income Insurance Limited, a leading Singapore insurer, is a minority shareholder of Fullerton.

In the unlikely event of Fullerton becoming insolvent, the fund’s assets will not be affected as they are held by a third-party custodian and protected from Fullerton’s creditors.
