Note: To access the Subscription feature, you must activate the production version of your Payment Gateway.

What is a Payment Gateway Subscription?

The Payment Gateway Subscription feature enables your business to create subscription plans for your customers via API, streamlining recurring payments.

Your customers only need to authorize the initial payment, and once the first transaction is successfully completed, the subscription plan is activated. Aspire securely stores your customer’s card details as a token, and subsequent payments will be automatically processed through an auto-debit system, ensuring a seamless experience for both you and your customers.

How to Activate the Payment Gateway Subscription

To activate the Payment Gateway Subscription feature, please contact your dedicated Account Manager or Account Executive.

Required Documents

  • Director’s ID Card

  • Business Registration and Identification Number (NIB)

  • Corporate Tax ID Card (NPWP)

  • Decree of Ministry

  • Deed of Establishment

  • Office Location

  • Bank Account Information

  • Tax Identification Number

  • A statement letter on why your business requires the subscription feature (template will be provided)

Note: The Bank may require other additional documents depending on their assessment.

How to Set Up a Subscription Plan?

Setting up a subscription plan for your customers is straightforward. Follow the detailed documentation provided here.

Available Payment Methods

Customers can conveniently pay for their subscription plans using debit or credit cards.

Status

Description

Created

The subscription plan has been created and is awaiting your customer’s authorization.

Active

The subscription plan is active and awaiting the next cycle. Auto-debit payments will continue successfully while the plan remains active.

Payment Processing

The last auto-debit attempt failed, and the system is implementing a retry* of up to 3x attempts.

Failed

The subscription plan is inactive due to a failed auto-debit and unsuccessful retries.

Cancelled

The subscription plan has been canceled by you.

Completed

The subscription plan has been fully completed with no remaining cycles.

*If an auto-debit attempt fails, the system will retry up to three times. Retry attempts are scheduled at 7 AM the next day.

Fees for Subscription

  • A monthly fee of IDR 2,000 will be charged for each active subscription.

  • The standard Payment Gateway processing fees will apply (e.g. cards: 2.9% + 2500 / transaction)

How Customers Can Make Payments for Their Subscription Plan

Customers can complete their subscription payments by following these steps:

  1. On the Purchase Details page, select Customers and enter the required credentials.

  2. Tick the checkbox for "Allow auto-debit for future recurring payments".

  3. Select "Credit Card" and input your card details.

  4. Click "Pay" to complete the process.

Note: During the first payment, customers will be prompted to complete a 3D Secure (3DS) authentication to verify their payment.
