Why does Aspire request constitutional documents?
Updated over a month ago

As a regulated financial platform, Aspire is committed to complying with strict regulatory standards. To ensure the security of your financial data and prevent fraud, we require specific documents to verify your business and adhere to industry regulations.

In line with this commitment, we are updating our client records to maintain accurate information and ensure ongoing compliance. As part of this process, we will need your constitutional documents to verify your organization’s structure and governance.

For businesses incorporated in Singapore, a sample of the necessary constitutional documents can be found through the ACRA website. These documents typically outline the company’s structure, governance, and legal obligations, which are essential for us to verify your organization. This will help streamline the process and maintain compliance with Singapore’s regulatory requirements.

How can I find my constitution document?

If you are unable to find your constitution document, you can purchase it from ACRA BizFile. Here is a step-by-step guide for your reference:

  1. Sign into BizFile using your Singpass or Corppass.

  2. Enter your Unique Entity Number (UEN) in the search bar and click ‘Other Information’.

  3. Click ‘Search’ and scroll to the ‘Extracts’ section.

  4. Under ‘Category,’ select ‘Company Incorporation (M&AA)/Constitution.’

  5. Choose ‘Last 5 Years’ as the transaction date and click ‘Find’. If unavailable, try other time ranges like ‘Last 10 Years’.

  6. Select the first option, purchase, and download the Constitution/M&AA file.
