Freezing a card will prevent the user from making any further purchases. There is no time limitation on how long you can freeze a card, and you can unfreeze it just as quickly.
Who Can Freeze a Card?
Admin, Finance, and Employee users can immediately freeze their own assigned cards.
Admin users can freeze cards assigned to other users within the account.
Budget Owners can freeze cards assigned to users within their designated budget.
How to Freeze a Card Instantly
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or tap "Menu" then "Cards" (mobile app).
Select the card you would like to freeze.
Select "Freeze".
Click "Yes, freeze". The card is now frozen.
Note: Repeat the above steps to unfreeze the card.
How to Set a Rule to Freeze a Card Automatically
Admin users and Budget Owners can set up automated freeze rules based on a specific transaction limit or a scheduled date. Budget Owners can only apply freeze rules when issuing cards to users within their assigned budget.
On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the navigation bar.
Select the card you would like to edit.
Click "Edit".
Tick the "Freeze automatically" option.
Set the number of transactions, or select the date you would like the card to freeze.
Click "Save changes" once done.
