Guide to Enabling Plaid Integration

Plaid is a secure open banking platform in the US that connects your bank accounts to apps without requiring you to share your login credentials. With Plaid, your Aspire account can safely share banking data such as account details, account holder information, and transaction history with external apps (payroll, accounting, etc).

How to enable Plaid integration in Aspire

Plaid integration is automatically enabled for all Aspire accounts. You can immediately connect to any Plaid-supported platforms without any setup needed from your Aspire account.

When connecting from third-party apps:

  1. Look for the "Connect with Plaid" or "Link Bank Account" option in your Plaid-supported app

  2. Select “Aspire” as your bank, then click “Continue to login

  3. Log in using your Aspire credentials

  4. Choose the business you would like to connect from the dropdown, review the data that will be shared with the third-party platform (as requested by Plaid), then click "Allow access" to proceed.

  5. Select your Aspire US Checking Account, then click “Continue

Your app will now have access to the Aspire bank account data.
