How to Set or Update the Spending Limit on Aspire Charge Cards

To set or update the spending limit on your Aspire Charge Card, you may follow the steps below, depending on your user role.

Admin users and Budget Owners

Note: Budget Owners can only update the spending limit on cards that are attached to their budget.

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Charge Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Charge Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Find the card for which you want to set or update the spending limit.

  3. Click on "Edit" in the top right corner.

  4. Toggle the button next to "Spend limit".

  5. Enter the desired amount and select the refresh frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or one-time). The spending limit will reset according to the chosen frequency.

  6. Once done, click on "Update card".

Finance and Employee users

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Charge Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Charge Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Find the card for which you want to set or update the spending limit.

  3. Click on "Request edit" in the top right corner.

  4. Toggle the button next to "Spend limit".

  5. Enter the desired amount and select the refresh frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or one-time). The spending limit will be reset according to the selected frequency once approved.

  6. Once completed, click on "Submit edit request".

Your Admin or Budget Owner* will then review your submitted request.

*Note: If your card is associated with a budget, the Budget Owner will review your submitted request.
