How to make your Aspire Charge Card repayment

To make repayments on the due amount of your Aspire Charge Cards, you can either enable Autopay or make a manual repayment.

Activating Autopay

To activate Autopay, Admin and Finance users with transfer rights can follow the steps below:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Charge Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Charge Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click "Repayment options" located on the top right-hand side.

  3. Click "Autopay" and select "Enable Autopay".

Notes:

  • Once Autopay is enabled, your due amount will be deducted daily at 6:00 PM PT, depending on what is due that day. No further action is needed from your end.

  • Autopay repayments are deducted from your Aspire Checking Account. Just ensure that your Aspire Checking Account has enough balance to do the repayment.

Pausing Autopay

Manual Repayment

If you’ve paused Autopay or prefer to pay manually, Admin and Finance with transfer rights may follow the steps below to make manual repayment:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Charge Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Charge Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Click "Repayment options" located on the top right-hand side.

If you have selected manual repayment, you will need to pay the due amount before 6 PM PST.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why is there an amount due today even though I have not made any new transactions?

These are likely processing transactions from a previous day that were just completed by the merchant. Transactions become due for repayment only when they are completed by the merchant.

For example:

  • You made a card transaction on May 1, which remained in processing status as the merchant had not yet completed it.

  • Since it was still processing, it did not appear in the due amount on May 1.

  • The merchant completed the transaction on May 2.

  • As a result, the charge appeared as due on May 2, and not May 1.

What happens if I miss the repayment?

If you miss your daily due amount repayment at 6 pm PST, your due amount will become overdue.

You can still make a manual repayment for the overdue amount before 6:45 pm PST on the next day.

You can make a manual repayment by clicking "Pay now" under the "Overdue" status.

Notes:

  • Ensure that you have sufficient balance in your Aspire Checking Account to make the repayment.

  • Manual repayments for overdue amounts can only be made between 6:00 PM and 6:45 PM PST (next day).

  • Late repayments on your Aspire Charge Card are not reported to credit bureaus and will not affect your credit record.

What happens if I miss the overdue repayment?

If the overdue amount is still unpaid after the time window:

  • Aspire will automatically deduct the amount from your Cards Collateral Account if the overdue amount is not repaid by 6:45 PM PT the following day.

  • Your charge card's available limit will be adjusted based on the deducted amount.

Note: If the overdue amount exceeds the funds in your Cards Collateral account, you’ll receive a notification to top up your Cards Collateral account.
