What invoices will I receive as an employer?
You'll typically see two types of invoices: a one-time security deposit invoice when a contract is created and accepted, and recurring monthly payroll invoices covering salary, employer costs, benefits, and the Aspire management fee for each active employee.
What currency will my invoices be issued in?
Invoices are generated in your employee's local currency — the currency of the country they're employed in — since that's the currency their salary, statutory employer costs, and benefits are calculated in.
Your employee is always paid out in their local currency. When you pay the invoice, you can choose to pay from any supported currency and we convert the amount automatically at the prevailing exchange rate.
How do I pay my Global Hiring invoices?
From the Payments section under Global Hiring, you can select one or more unpaid invoices — even across different employee local currencies — and pay by Aspire transfer in one click, or by transferring funds from an external bank account. Each invoice clearly shows its status (Pending, Processing, Paid, or Overdue).
What is Auto Pay and how do I set it up?
Auto Pay lets you automatically settle upcoming invoices on their due date, without having to review and pay each one manually.
Open Manage Auto Pay, turn on the toggle for each payment currency you want to automate — i.e. the currency of the Aspire account you want funds debited from
Choose the specific Aspire account to debit.
You can pause, resume, or edit your Auto Pay setup at any time.
When are my invoices due?
Invoices are due 3 days from the date they are generated. You'll see the due date clearly on each invoice, along with reminders as the date approaches.
What happens if an invoice isn't paid on time?
An overdue invoice is flagged on your Payments page, and you'll receive reminder notifications. To avoid any disruption to your employees' salary payments, we recommend paying promptly or setting up Auto Pay.
Why does the invoice amount sometimes differ slightly from the quoted estimate?
When you pay from a payment currency that's different from your employee's local currency, the conversion uses the exchange rate at the time the invoice is generated.
Small differences from your original estimate can occur due to normal currency fluctuations.
