Work Authorization Documentation

Work authorization is official proof that an employee has the legal right to work in their employment country. For workers employed outside their home country, this is a legal requirement.

Why Platform needs this

  • Legal compliance - As the employer of record, Platform is legally responsible for verifying that every worker has the right to work in their employment country before they start.

  • Ongoing monitoring - Work authorization isn't permanent. Documents expire and regulations change. Platform tracks this continuously so your organization stays protected.

  • Protection for your organization - Hiring without verified work authorization can result in fines, contract termination, and reputational damage. Platform's verification protects you from this risk.

What happens next

  1. You declare the Right to Work status
Confirm whether the worker has an existing document or needs a work permit.

  2. Employee uploads their document
The employee receives a task to upload their right to work document during onboarding.

  3. Aspire verifies and monitors
Our team reviews the document, confirms it meets local requirements, and tracks expiry on an ongoing basis.
