What is Proof of Business (POB) and why do I need it?

Proof of Business (POB) is a document that confirms your business is legitimate and operational. It’s part of our standard onboarding process for Singapore accounts.

If your account was approved before POB was submitted, you’ll be asked to complete this verification step. Until you do, a $20,000 transaction limit applies to your account.

Why is my transaction limit set at $20,000?

Your account was approved under our Progressive KYB (Know Your Business) process, which allows you to get started while we complete the full business verification.

The $20,000 limit is a temporary threshold that applies until your Proof of Business is verified. Once your POB is approved, this restriction is lifted, and your account operates under standard transaction limits.

How do I submit my Proof of Business?

When you log in to your account, you’ll see a banner showing your current transaction usage against the $20,000 limit, along with a request to upload your POB document.

  • Upload Document Tap or click

  • You’ll be taken to the POB Verification Form

  • Fill in the required details and attach your document

  • Submit when ready

You can also choose Do It Later to continue using your account up to the current limit and return when ready.

What happens after I submit my documents?

After submission, your app will show Documents Under Review. Our team will review your submission and get back to you. You can track the status of your verification at any time.

Note: Review timeline may vary. You’ll be notified once a decision has been made

UNDERSTANDING YOUR VERIFICATION STATUS

What do the different POB statuses mean?

Here’s what each status means for your account:

  • In progress – Your documents have been submitted and are being reviewed.

  • Verified – Your POB has been approved. Transaction limit restrictions are lifted.

  • Insufficient – The documents submitted didn’t meet our requirements. You’ll need to resubmit

My submission was marked as insufficient. What should I do?

If your POB was rejected, you’ll see a banner prompting you to resubmit with valid documents. The $20,000 limit remains in place until a successful verification is completed.

Please review what counts as valid POB and re-upload your documents using the same form. If you’re unsure what’s required, contact our support team at aspireapp.com for guidance.

I was asked for additional details. What does that mean?

If our team needs more information, your app will show a banner saying Additional details required.

Tap Submit Details to be taken back to the POB form where you can upload or update your documents.

Once resubmitted, your documents will be reviewed again, and your status will be updated accordingly.

What happens if I reach the $20,000 limit before verifying my POB?

Once you reach the $20,000 threshold, you won’t be able to make further transactions until a valid Proof of Business is submitted and approved. To avoid disruption to your business, we recommend completing your POB verification as soon as possible.
