What types of beneficiaries can I transfer HUF to?

You can send HUF payments to individual and business accounts in Hungary.

Payment Types

HUF transfers are sent via local transfer.

Name Checks

No name verification is required for HUF transfers.

Is there a limit on the amount I can send?

Transfer Limit: HUF 300,000,000 per transfer

How long does it take for the funds to reach the beneficiary?

  • Cut-off Times:

    • Transfers below HUF 20,000,000: Instant

    • Transfers above HUF 20,000,000: Multiple processing windows throughout the day at 2:00 AM | 4:30 PM | 5:30 PM | 6:30 PM | 7:30 PM | 8:30 PM | 9:30 PM | 10:30 PM | 11:30 PM SGT (Singapore Time)

  • Delivery Estimate:

    • Transfers below HUF 20,000,000: Instant

    • Transfers above HUF 20,000,000: Typically up to 1 business day after currency conversion is completed

Notes:

  • Currency conversion can take up to 2 business days from the time your transfer is approved.

  • No payouts are processed during weekends or Hungary public holidays.

  • Transfers submitted after the cut-off times will be processed at the next available window.

What will the sender's name be reflected as?

Your business name will be displayed as the sender on the recipient's bank statement.

What information should I include when sending HUF transfers?

Recipient and Transfer Details:

When initiating the transfer in the Aspire app, Admin and Finance Users will be asked to provide:

  • Recipient's full name or business name

  • IBAN: 28 characters

  • Hungarian local bank account: 24 characters

    • If the account number is only 16 digits, add 8 zeros at the end to make it 24 characters

Traces and Recalls

  • Traces: Traces requests are not supported.

  • Recalls: Recall requests are supported for valid reasons.

To request a recall, contact Aspire Support Team via the Aspire app.

Bounceback

If your transfer is rejected by the recipient's bank, the funds will be returned to your Aspire account. The timeline varies depending on the recipient's bank processing time.
