Guide to Creating Payment Links

Follow this guide to create Payment Links.

Note: For businesses incorporated in Hong Kong, you can only create payment links using the SGD, IDR, USD, EUR, and GBP Aspire Account.

Admin and Finance users can create payment links. You can send payment link requests using the currency of your available multi-currency accounts.

Notes:

  • Card payment option and scheduled/recurring Payment feature are not available yet. We encourage you to upvote the following links below so you will be notified immediately once this feature becomes available:

  • The Invoices feature is not yet available for Hong Kong-incorporated businesses.

How to create a Payment Link?

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Payment Links" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Payment links" (mobile app).

  2. Click on "➕ New Link" on the top right-hand side

  3. Fill out the form: Customer, Currency, Amount, Description, Due date and link expiry date

  4. Select the payment options you will offer your customer

  5. Click "Create payment link," and it's done

  6. From here, you can copy the link and send it via your preferred communication method OR using our email template option

Notes:

  • SGD Account - You can receive payments from abroad as long as your SWIFT SGD Account Details are activated.

  • IDR Account - Payments can be received through Virtual Accounts or activated E-wallets.

  • Payment Links created in IDR currency will take up to 24 hours to appear in your Aspire account.

  • When your customer makes a payment through E-wallets (OVO, Shopee Pay, Link Aja, DANA) for your invoice or payment link in the IDR currency, there will be a settlement time of D+2 before the funds are credited to your IDR account.

What will your customers see when they click on the Payment Link?

Your customers will be routed to a page where they can see who the payment is to, the amount they need to pay and the option to select their preferred payment method.

How to use the Payment Link Dashboard?

This dashboard helps you keep track of all the Payment Links created on your account. You can access this dashboard by clicking "Payment links" in the left navigation bar or click "Menu" and choose "Payment links" (mobile app).

Filter through all the payment links you have sent out to customers with the following options:

  • Paid

  • Due in xx days

  • Overdue by xx days

  • Expired links

  • Customer
