Guide to Re-assigning Roles in Budgets

Budget Owners can change the role of any user within a budget. Re-assigning roles does not affect active cards assigned to that user.

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Budgets" in the left navigation bar (web app) or click "Menu" and choose "Budgets" (mobile app).

  2. Select the budget.

  3. Scroll down to the "People" tab and select the Budget Owner or Budget Member whose role you want to change.

  4. Under the "Permissions" tab, click "Modify access", then "Update budget role".

  5. Select their new role, and click "Yes, proceed".

Notes:

  • When upgrading a Budget Member to a Budget Owner:

    • If you're a Budget Owner with transfer rights: You can choose whether to assign transfer rights to the new Budget Owner

    • If you're a Budget Owner without transfer rights: You cannot assign transfer rights to others
