What is NAV

NAV stands for Net Asset Value. It represents the value of one unit (or share) of the fund at a given time. NAV is calculated based on the total value of the fund’s underlying assets, minus any applicable fund-level fees and expenses.

What are Units

Units refer to the number of shares you own in the fund. When you place an order, the number of units you receive is based on the amount you invest divided by the NAV at the time of purchase.

How is my total investment value calculated

To determine the total value of your holdings, simply multiply:

Number of Units x NAV = Total Value of Holdings

For example, if you hold 1,000 units and the NAV is SGD 1.20, your total value is SGD 1,200.

What determines NAV

NAV is based on the total value of the fund’s investments, minus fund-level fees and expenses. These include the fund’s management fee (e.g., 0.16%), which is already factored into the NAV. You don’t pay this fee separately.

Why are there deductions if I’m exempted from management fees

Aspire waives the 0.5% Aspire Fee for waitlist clients. However, the underlying fund still charges a 0.16% management fee, which is not from Aspire and is already included in the NAV. There are no additional or hidden charges—you will not be billed separately.
