How does Stripe Payout work for SGD Invoices and Payment Links

Updated this week

Note: This feature is only available to Singapore businesses with Aspire SGD Account.

Payment Settlement After Your Customer Pays

With Stripe, the standard settlement timeline is T+7. However, when you set up Stripe through Aspire, you may be eligible to receive your funds faster, in just T+3.

Stripe usually processes the first payout 7–14 days after you receive your first payment via invoice or payment link. This initial timeline is determined by Stripe and may vary depending on your industry type and country of operation. Once the first payout is completed, your account will follow Stripe’s standard payout schedule.

To qualify for the T+3 settlement:

  • Set up your Stripe account directly through Aspire.

  • Add your Aspire SGD Account as the payout destination.

Aspire will then request the accelerated T+3 settlement on your behalf. If Stripe approves the request, you’ll receive a confirmation email directly from them.

Approval is subject to Stripe’s review and eligibility criteria.

Stripe Payout Process

Once settled, daily payments are automatically transferred to your preset payout account after Stripe deducts applicable fees. For more details, refer to Stripe’s FAQ.

To have a seamless all-in-one experience, make sure your Aspire SGD account is set as a payout account on Stripe.

If your invoice or payment link isn’t settled in Aspire, a message will appear on the details screen. Admin and Finance users can update the payout account to Aspire by clicking “Update payout account.

Note:

  • Company directors who click the link are automatically redirected to the Stripe business settings page.

  • Aspire admin and finance users who are part of the connected Stripe account will be prompted to log in. Those not associated must use the connected account’s credentials to access the business settings page.
