Licensing & Compliance

Where is AspireX licensed?

Aspire holds 8 live licences across Singapore (MAS), Hong Kong (SFC, Customs & Excise), United States (FinCEN, SEC), Australia (ASIC), Netherlands/EU (DNB), and Canada (Bank of Canada), with a further 6 in progress, including the UK (FCA).

Who are AspireX's banking partners?

Singapore - DBS SG; Hong Kong - DBS HK; United States - Column Bank (FDIC insured).

What is the KYB process, and what documents will you need from us?

Standard KYB includes entity documents, ownership structure (UBOs ≥ 25%), a business model narrative, source of funds, and sanctions screening.

Typical document pack: certificate of incorporation, M&AA, directors' register, UBO structure chart, business plan, and financial statements.

For crypto/Web3 clients, we also review your VASP licence, AML/KYC policies, Travel Rule compliance approach, and chain analytics provider setup (e.g. Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic).

We use a risk-based approach - higher-risk profiles receive deeper review but are not automatically declined.

What is your security posture?

We operate with bank-grade controls: ISO 27001 certified, PCI DSS compliance where we handle card data, and regular third-party penetration testing. Infrastructure is cloud-native and multi-region, with role-based access controls, MFA, and full audit logging. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
