Guide to Cancelling Aspire Cards

Cancelling your virtual or physical card is performed by Admins and Budget Owners via your Aspire account.

Note: Cancelled cards cannot be reactivated.

Admin and Budget Owners can follow the steps below to cancel a card:

  1. On your Aspire dashboard, click "Cards" in the left navigation bar (web app) or tap "Menu" then "Cards" (mobile app).

  2. Select the card, then click "Cancel".

  3. Select the reason. If you choose "Other reason", please specify.

  4. Click "Yes, cancel card". The card is now cancelled.

Note: Cancellation permissions:

  • Admin users can cancel their own cards and the cards of other users on the account.

  • Budget Owners can cancel their own cards as well as cards of other users within their assigned budget.

  • Finance and Employee users do not have the ability to cancel their own cards.
